With Ashokavanam, master director Mani Ratnam came back to Tollywood after a two year gap. This time he teams up with Vikram.  Ashokavanam is an adaptation of the timeless Ramayana and has an array of stars in the cast; Also, it has A.R. Rahman’s music. This film is also being made in Hindi as Raavan which features Aishwarya and Abhishek together.

It is heard that the movie has used animals at some points in the shoot. Directed by Subramaniam Siva, it will be interesting to see director Ameer as an actor.

Kettavan is a movie that had been heard about a lot since the past few months. The movie stars Silambarasan who apparently plays the bad man on screen. Rumors were doing their rounds when we heard that the film was buried. But this wasn’t true. This is in fact one of Silambarasan’s key projects. So lets wait and watch if the bad man can get and hold some attention.

With Sultan, animation becomes prominent in the South Indian film industry. This film is produced by a new production house called Ochre Studios. The budget is of this film is 60 crores. Let us see if the film does justice to this kind of humongous budget.
