Every Tamil movie fan must have heard of veteran filmmaker cum actor K Bhagiyaraj. He has had a successful record and his next venture Siddu Plus Two First Attempt (SPTFA) is quite promising as well. He has also been known for giving huge musical hits and this time he has teamed up with music composer Dharan. They have already worked before in ‘Parijatham’ needless to say, movie has some wonderful music.

 

SPTFA has Santhanu Bhagiyaraj and Chandni in lead roles. Aspects like direction, story, dialogues and screenplay have been handled by Bhagiyaraj himself. The album has total 6 songs out of which 4 has been composed by Dharan whereas Thaman and Babu Shankar has composed one each. The album is quite interesting and offers a variety of music.

 

The album begins with ‘Poove Poove’ that has been rendered by famous music composer Yuvan and Chinmayee. This song is best suited for taste of youngsters with its mild beats and catchy melody. ‘Poove Poove (Remix)’ is the next number rendered by Yuvan again. The movie Renigunta was in news recently because of its focus on a complicated subject like juvenile criminals. The movie has been directed by debutant director Pannerselvam who is also known for his earlier association with filmmaker Lingusamy. Renigunta is basically an action packed movie and the music of the film has been composed by first timer Ganesh Raghavendra. The duo of first-timers has tried their best in giving some fine music. The album is an interesting mix of melody, spice and popular music. The lyrics have been penned by Na Muthukumar, Yugabharathi and Piraisoodan.

 

Renigunta boasts of experienced singers like Harish Raghavendra, Bombay Jayashree, Vijay Yesudas and Shreya Ghosal etc. The album begins on a melodious note with ‘Mazhai Peyyum’. The yearend season for Tamil songs seems to be on a high. The recent releases are notching up good sales figures and majority of new Tamil albums are being lapped by music lovers. The recent release ‘Naanayam’ seems to be another winner in the promising Tamil music industry. The movie has also been buzzing since quite some time. One, James Vasanthan has composed music for the movie after a bit of gap. His last compositions in the movies ‘Subramaniapuram’ and ‘Pasanga’ had generated quite a heat and music lovers were curious about his next movie. Expectedly, he has delivered yet again with Naanayam. The movie is basically a thriller starring Prasanna and Sibiraj.

 

Naanayam has total six tracks and almost all of them are pretty different from each other. Music also has an interesting blend of experience and youth. As veteran established singers like S P Balasubramaniam and Chitra have lent their voices to the songs and so did upcoming talents like Silambarasan and Devi Sri Prasad.

 

The album begins with title song of ‘Naanayam’ sung by Ranjith. Its a racy song and picks up the pace rapidly. Quite a lovable song this one is. Full of energy, this song will make you groove. Very enjoyable indeed.
