Every Tamil movie fan must have heard of veteran filmmaker cum actor K Bhagiyaraj. He has had a successful record and his next venture Siddu Plus Two First Attempt (SPTFA) is quite promising as well. He has also been known for giving huge musical hits and this time he has teamed up with music composer Dharan. They have already worked before in ‘Parijatham’ needless to say, movie has some wonderful music.

 

SPTFA has Santhanu Bhagiyaraj and Chandni in lead roles. Aspects like direction, story, dialogues and screenplay have been handled by Bhagiyaraj himself. The album has total 6 songs out of which 4 has been composed by Dharan whereas Thaman and Babu Shankar has composed one each. The album is quite interesting and offers a variety of music.

 

The album begins with ‘Poove Poove’ that has been rendered by famous music composer Yuvan and Chinmayee. This song is best suited for taste of youngsters with its mild beats and catchy melody. ‘Poove Poove (Remix)’ is the next number rendered by Yuvan again. Quite appealing, this song has potential to lure youngsters in a big way.

 

Singers, Haricharan, ‘Ganja’ Karuppu, C A Raja and Maniyan have crooned next song ‘Kelu…Kelu’. A soft song with elements of humor in it. I must say, it’s an interesting experiment. Ranjith, Rahul Nambiar and Naveen have sung next song called ‘Gundu Chattikkule’. A typical youth song, this might prove to be a huge hit in coming time.

 

‘Money Money’ sung by Benny Dayal and Reshmi is the next song. A perfect song for discotheques, it has racy beats and peppy music. The last song of the album is ‘Naan Aalana Thamarai’ rendered by Venkat Prabhu, Suchitra and Srimathumitha. This one is a fast number and can be pick of the album. Song is quite energetic. To sum up, music of SPTFA offers variety and variation.

One of the most talented Tamil singer and composer is Deva. He is in Tamil film industry for more than 20 years and needless to say, this has proved to be one memorable journey for this amazing singer. A great talent, Deva is also known as the “Father of Gaana Genre” in Tamil film industry. His musical journey started in 1989 with the film Manasukkeththa Maharaasa. He composed music for this movie and all the songs were chartbusters. The astonishing fact is Deva has composed music for no less than 400 movies. He has passed on his musical genes to his son Srikanth Deva who is also an established name in Tamil music direction.

Finally, all his hard work came to fruition when he signed his first movie, Manasukkeththa Maharaasaa. This movie was followed by Vaikaasi Poranthaachu and this movie turned his life forever. Its songs were huge hits and thereafter he never looked back. Deva has also dabbled into other regional movies and proved to be a huge hit.
