Music Director: Vijay Bharathi
Lyrics: Sathaji, Viveka
Vocals: Madhu Balakrishnan, Mukesh, K.S.Kanthi Kumar, Sangeetha, V K Karna, Unnikrishnan, Roshni, Krishnaraj & chorus.
The movie Naai Kutty has been directed by Sathaji and he has also contributed in penning down some lyrics. Vijay Bharathi has composed the music and lyrics have been blessed by Sathaji and Viveka. The music director is a well known name in Kannada film industry and this is Vijay’s first Tamil venture. The album has total six songs.
First song of the album is ‘Utthirathil’ with vocals by Madhu Balakrishnan. The song reminds you of Chakravaha ragam (those who are familiar with classical music must have heard of this). It is basically a soft lullaby and rhythms are deep. It touches upon your chord and gives you something to listen in silence. The second song of the movie is ‘Adichhi Pottaa’. Song has been sung by Mukesh and it is basically a fun song with rustic element. Song is a light one and has good chances of being on the chart for a while.
Next song is ‘Eppo Paarthaeno’ and sung by K.S.Kanthi Kumar, Sangeetha. This song wonderfully mixes two diverse feel of retro and breeziness. The music is enthralling and rhythm is appealing. ‘Johnny Walker’ is the next song in the album. A normal song that fits well with the overall feel of the album. The next song is ‘Kola Kolaiya’ that has been rendered by Unnikrishnan and Roshni. Unni has given a wonderful song and somehow that makes you crave for more from this talented singer. Song has all the potential to become a chartbuster.
The last song of the album is ‘Kaadhalile Pengalukku’ and sung by Krishnaraj & chorus. It’s a funny song. Overall, the album is good and pleasant.
